Your images and report
Following your examination, your images will be electronically sent to one of our Radiologists for reporting. The Radiologist interprets the images and dictates a report, which is then transcribed and sent to your doctor by fax, mail or HealthLink’s secure Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). They will also have access to your images and report online.
Other doctors
On your referral form, your doctor may have specified other doctors or surgeons who will receive copies of your report. The report will be sent to them automatically and they will have access to your examination images online.
ACC-covered MRI scans
If you have applied to have the costs of your MRI scan to be covered by ACC, a copy of the report will also be securely sent to them electronically by EDI. They will not have online access to your images.
