Our Radiologists

Radiologists are medical specialists who have completed at least 12 years of training. All SRG radiologists are credentialed by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists. They are responsible for interpreting diagnostic images for medical diagnostic purposes.

Dr Quentin Reeves MB ChB 1984 Auckland; FRANZCR 1991

Quentin is a Musculoskeletal Radiologist at SRG and also at Auckland City Hospital.

After training in Radiology in Auckland, he completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology and MRI at UCLA from 1990 to 1991. He also worked in Sydney, both in private practice and at Prince of Wales Hospital. Career highlights include working as a Radiologist at the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games and 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. He was also the Chris Kohlenburg Fellow for the Australiasian Society for Ultrasound in Medicine in 2001.

Quentin has worked extensively in Musculoskeletal Radiology, and has a particular interest in MRI, Musculoskeletal ultrasound and spinal procedures. He has considerable experience using the 3 Tesla MRI scanner installed at SRG.

Dr Richard Gee MB ChB 1991 Auckland; FRANZCR 2000

Richard trained through the Auckland Radiology Program and was selected as the Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellow at Vancouver General Hospital in 2001-2002 working with Professor Peter Munk. In addition to working at SRG, Richard also works at North Shore hospital as a Radiology Consultant. His radiology interests are musculoskeletal imaging which includes modalities such as ultrasound, MRI and image guided procedures.

I enjoy working at Specialist Radiology + MRI Greenlane because there is an excellent team of medical imaging technologists and sonographers who know to get the maximum results out of state of the art equipment and regularly produce gold standard imaging studies.

Dr Phil Clark MB ChB 1995 Auckland; FRANZCR 2004

  • Graduated in 1988 with distinction as a Medical Radiation Technologist, Waikato Hospital.
  • Graduated in May 1992 with a Bachelor of Human Biology (BHB), from the University of Auckland.
  • Graduated in May 1995 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), from the University of Auckland.
  • Graduated in May 1998 with the Diploma in Paediatrics (Dip Paeds), from the University of Auckland.
